Kirriemuir Cemetery - War Graves Week Tours

War Graves Week is an initiative aimed at encouraging people from the local community to come together and discover the World War heritage on their doorstep – learning about the stories of those commemorated by the CWGC and the skills, dedication and expertise of those CWGC staff and volunteers who work to keep their memory alive.

MEETING POINT at Kirriemuir war memorial at the top end (north) of the cemetery

Parking is on Kirriemuir Hill by the Camera Obscura which has toilet facilities. There is a short, steep section of the site so a degree of physical effort will be required. Although wheelchair access is possible, part of the tour will include ascending and descending a short steep portion of path. Some access to headstones may be on grass so access could pose a problem.

Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
