Rutherglen Cemetery - War Graves Week Tours

War Graves Week is an initiative aimed at encouraging people from the local community to come together and discover the World War heritage on their doorstep – learning about the stories of those commemorated by the CWGC and the skills, dedication and expertise of those CWGC staff and volunteers who work to keep their memory alive.

MEETING POINT at the Cross of Sacrifice (just inside the main entrance on Mill Street. Please allow 5 mins to walk through to the meeting point from the parking area.

No on-site parking but there is free parking in Broomieknowe Road where there is pedestrian access to the cemetery.

No facilities or toilets; uneven ground; hilly or steep slopes.

Your tour guide requests that social distancing is observed throughout the tour.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
