Educated at St. Alban's School, Brockville, Ontario, of which he was Captain and Gold Medallist. Entered Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario, Aug., 31, 1914, and in June 23rd, 1915, passed out, having been granted a commission in the Canadian Field Artillery. Born at Peterborough, Ontario.
