CWGC accredited with the Commonwealth Secretariat

We are delighted to announce that CWGC has been confirmed as a Commonwealth accredited organisation by the Commonwealth Secretariat. 

The Secretariat is the main intergovernmental agency and central institution of the Commonwealth of Nations, with 56 member nations. Accreditation with the Secretariat will enable the CWGC to develop closer links to member nations and work with other accredited bodies to support the Commonwealth and achieve our ambition to be a global leader in commemoration for all time. 

As an accredited organisation CWGC will have the opportunity to attend the Commonwealth Head of Government Meetings (CHOGM) that take place every two years. We will also be able to engage in consultation processes considering issues such as the future of the Commonwealth. As an accredited organisation we will be able to deepen our relations across the Commonwealth by developing partnerships and collaborating with other accredited bodies.  

Meanwhile CWGC be able to offer the Commonwealth Secretariat and other accredited bodies our extensive expertise with over 100 years’ experience working for the benefit of the Commonwealth.

The clear mutual benefits of accreditation will support the CWGC, the Commonwealth Secretariat and other accredited organisations in fulfilling their respective missions on behalf of the Commonwealth bodies and citizens they represent.
