CWGC cemeteries affected by Typhoon Mangkhut

A small number of our sites have suffered some significant damage due to Typhoon Mangkhut that recently affected Hong Kong (SAR). Fortunately, there has been no damage to any headstones.

However, as a result, the following CWGC locations are currently closed to the public whilst the clean-up is conducted and all debris removed.

• Sai Wan War Cemetery
• Stanley Military Cemetery
• Gurkha Cemetery

Our operations team are working hard to restore everything to normal and we will advise the public via our website as soon as the sites are re-opened for visitors.
