Long Lost Family: The Unknown Soldiers – 21.00 Monday 18 July on ITV1 

Following the success of the first special shown in late 2017, the work of the MOD’s ‘War Detectives’ and CWGC Commemorations return to the small screen as part of the current series of ITV’s Long Lost Family. Once again Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell follow the team during the Great War special which focusses on the extraordinary discovery of nine soldiers found buried on a roadside in Belgium. The programme gives an insight into how the life of the soldiers until their final steps on the battlefield is pieced together.
