Fireside Chat: Tales of the Anzacs
Join us for a sit-down with a hot cup of tea or a Wipers Times whilst we tell the stories of the ANZAC Soldiers.
On ANZAC Day, 24 April 2026, we will take a moment to sit together and remember the stories of the ANZAC soldiers.
Rather than focusing solely on military history, we will share the personal tales behind the uniform—who they were before the war, what motivated them to serve, and how their actions shaped the people and communities they left behind.
In a warm and welcoming setting at our Menin Gate Café at our Ieper Visitor Centre, we will bring the stories of the fallen back to life through conversation and remembrance.
Entry is free, but it's always nice to know if you are planning to join us. You can let us know via visitorcentre@cwgc.org or reserve a spot on Eventbrite.
