Rededication ceremony for Captain Frederick Arthur John Robertson Brooke, Royal Army Medical Corps (att. Wiltshire Regiment)

A rededication ceremony for Captain Frederick Arthur John Robertson Brooke, Royal Army Medical Corps (att. Wiltshire Regiment) will be held at 10.00am (local time) on 6 September 2023 at CWGC’s La Ville-aux-Bois British Cemetery, France.

Captain Brooke died on 27 May 1918 and was previously commemorated on the CWGC Soissons Memorial.

CWGC has marked his recently identified grave with a Commission headstone and will care for it in perpetuity. The service has been organised by the British Ministry of Defence’s Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and will be attended by his family, Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries.
