Rededication Ceremony for Company Sergeant Major David George Parfitt, 8th Bn. Canadian Infantry

A rededication ceremony for Company Sergeant Major David George Parfitt, 8th Bn. Canadian Infantry will be held at 12.00pm (local time) on 16 November 2023 at CWGC’s Regina Trench Cemetery, France.

Company Sergeant Major Parfitt died on 26 September 1916 and was previously commemorated on Vimy Memorial to the Missing.

CWGC will mark his recently identified grave with a Commission headstone and will care for it in perpetuity. The service has been organised the Canadian Armed Forces and will be attended by Canadian Defence staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries.
