Rededication Ceremony for Trooper Henry George Johnston, 1st Armoured Personnel Carrier Regiment, Royal Canadian Armoured Corps

A rededication ceremony for Trooper Henry George Johnston, 1st Armoured Personnel Carrier Regiment will be held at 11.00am (local time) on 5 September 2023 at CWGC’s Mook War Cemetery, Netherlands.

Trooper Johnston died on 17 January 1945 and was previously commemorated on Groesbeek Memorial to the Missing.

CWGC will mark his recently identified grave with a Commission headstone and will care for it in perpetuity. The service will be attended by family members, Canadian Defence staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries.
