Rededication service for Captain Ernest Charles Parry 12/2904, Auckland Regiment at CWGC Dochy Farm New British Cemetery, Belgium

Rededication service for Captain Ernest Charles Parry, Auckland Regiment will take place at 11am (local time) on 12th October 2022 at CWGC Dochy Farm New British Cemetery, Belgium.

Captain Parry died on 6th October 1917 whilst serving with the 16th (Waikato) Company, 1st Battalion, Auckland Regiment. He was previously commemorated on the CWGC Tyne Cot Memorial.

CWGC has marked his recently identified grave with a Commission headstone, bearing his name and personal inscription chosen by his family, and will care for it in perpetuity. The service has been organised by the New Zealand Defence Force and will be attended by Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
