Rededication service for Second Lieutenant Ernest Lockett Cole will be held at CWGC’s Ovillers Military Cemetery

A rededication service will be held for Second Lieutenant Ernest Lockett Cole at 14.30 pm (local time) at Ovillers Military Cemetery.

Second Lieutenant Cole served with the Northamptonshire Regiment and was killed in action on 27 September 1916.

CWGC will install a headstone bearing his name and personal inscription chosen by his family, and care for his grave in perpetuity.

The service has been organised by the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and will be attended by family members, Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
