Location information

Vadum is a village in northern Jutland approximately 7 kilometres north of the port of Aalborg on the north side of the Lim Fjord. From Aalborg proceed north on the E45 motorway and exit at junction 20 onto the A11. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometres and turn right onto the local road signposted for Vadum Kirkegaarde (churchyard). At the crossroads 1 kilometre along that road the church can be seen straight ahead on the left side of the road. The part of the churchyard containing the war graves plot is on the opposite (right) side of the road. From the entrance to the churchyard the red sandstone memorial wall can be seen immediately on the left.
