This cemetery is Ministry of Defence property and is located next to the former Albany Barracks (now part of HMP Isle of Wight). It contains military graves from the 19th century until the late 1950's and war graves of both world wars. There are 59 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war here and a further 26 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war, including 1 unidentified British soldier and 2 unidentified seamen of the Merchant Navy.
