Location information
Faslane Cemetery is close to HM Naval Base at Faslane, on Gare Loch. From the North Gate, take the B872 signposted for Garelochhead. The cemetery entrance is 100 yards down this road on the right hand side (it is signposted).
History information
The cemetery contains 33 First World War Graves, of which 31 are connected with the sinking of H.M. Submarine "K.13" in the Gareloch on 29 January 1917. There is also a special memorial which stands in memory of a Fairfield Shipbuilding Company employee who perished aboard "K.13" and whose body was never recovered.
There are nine Second World War Graves in this cemetery.
