Location information

Gavrus is a village and commune 9 miles (14 kilometres) south-west of Caen, and 14 miles (22 kilometres) south-east of Bayeux. It is 2 miles (3 kilometres) off the main (N.175) road from Caen to Villers-Bocage and Vire. There are 2 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war here, 1 of which is unidentified, one on each side of the war memorial in the north-west corner of the churchyard.
