Location information

Opsterland is the administrative title of a commune, with headquarters in Beesterzwaag, which controls sixteen villages. Gorredijk is one of these, and lies 30 kilometres south-south-east of Leeuwarden. The cemetery is on the southern outskirts of the village, on the road to Heerenveen.
