Location information

Hieslum, administered by the commune Wonseradeel, is 1.5 kilometres south of Parrega and 9 kilometres south-south-west of Bolsward, which is on the Sneek-Harlingen road. In the churchyard, near to the west door of the church, are the graves of 2 airmen from the United Kingdom. They are marked by a memorial which was erected by the local people.
