Location information

Groningen, the capital of the province of the same name, lies 59 kilometres east of Leeuwarden. Esserveld is a suburb of Groningen. The cemetery is about 4 kilometres south-east of the main road to Haren. The graves are in the south-western part of this burial ground, in two plots about 70 metres apart.
