Location information
Bardi is a small village in the Province of Parma, in the mountains south of the main road from Piacenza to Parma. The cemetery is 700 metres after the main square of this village (called Piazza Vittoria) on SP 359, in the direction of Bore. Visitors must turn off the main road at Firenzuola d'Arda, 37 kilometres north-west of Parma; from there a provincial road leads through Lagagnano and Caserma to Bardi (47 kilometres). The Communal Cemetery is about 457 metres north of the village. On entering the cemetery, proceed straight forward to the far side of a long wall of niche burials which divides the cemetery into two parts. Then turn right along a path for 23 metres and enter a circular cloister; on the south wall of this there is a plaque commemorating a single soldier of the British Army. Cemetery Address: Via dei Cipressi - 43032 Bardi (PR). GPS Co-ordinates: 44.639086, 9.733393.
