Location information

Approximately half a kilometre north of Selander Bridge, turn left at the traffic lights onto Kinondoni Road. The cemetery is on the left after approximately half a kilometre and is surrounded by a 6 foot concrete wall.

Dar es Salaam (Kinondoni) Municipal Cemetery is open every day between 06:00 and 18:00. Wheelchair access to this cemetery is possible via main entrance.

History information

This civil cemetery contains ten Commonwealth burials of the Second World War. The Commission also has responsibility for one Belgian war burial and four non-war graves in the cemetery.
