Location information

Piet Retief is near the border of Swaziland some 385 kilometres south-east of Johannesburg. The Commonwealth war graves are in a group in the cemetery, which is situated on the south-western side of the town of eThandakukhaya.

During the Second World War an Army Training Camp and Military Hospital was established in the town.
