Location information

Vignemont is a commune in the department of Oise, some 13 kilometres north of Compiegne. The cemetery is 300 metres from the village on the D41 and is well signposted. The Commonwealth war graves are located in the front section of the cemetery.

History information

The French National Cemetery was begun by an ambulance in April 1918, and enlarged after the Armistice. There are now 10, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, a small number are unidentified.
