Location information

The cemetery is to east of the main road in the village. Travelling north on the A947, turn right on to Hillbrae Way, then turn second left on to School Road. The entrance to the cemetery is on the right hand side of the road.

History information

The cemetery was begun in 1905. There is a special service plot in which rest all but 2 of the 61 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-45 war. The burials were mostly from the naval base at Aberdeen, 12 miles away, and from Kingseat Naval Hospital at New Machar. 3 of these burials are unidentified seamen of the Merchant Navy.

There is one 1914-1918 war grave in this cemetery and 2 non-war Service burials.
