Location information

Wittenburg is a town in North Germany approx 80 km north east of Hamburg. From the A24 Berlin to Hamburg motorway take exit 10 (Ausfahrt 10) WITTENBURG / HAGENOW-KIETZ. Follow direction WITTENBURG and continue along the HAGENOWER CHAUSSEE for approx 1.2kms and turn left onto HELMER WEG. The CWGC grave is located to the rear right of the civilian cemetery. Continue along the tree lined central path and approx 30 m past the Chapel turn right. Continue approx 100 m to the end and on the left is a war graves plot.
