Location information
The cemetery consists of a stone cairn on the edge of the old city walls. The cemetery is to the left of the entrance of the Lion's Gate. Proceed along the path for 100 metres and the Memorial is down some steps, on the left hand side.

The Cemetery is closed to visitors on Thursday of each week.

History information
This civil cemetery contains the graves of 198 unidentified men of the Egyptian Labour Corps who died during the First World War. A central memorial commemorates these men and 75 others buried in Jerusalem (Bab El Zahira, or 'Herod's Gate') and Jerusalem (Mamilla Omar) Muslim Cemeteries, west and north of the city respectively.
