History information
The cemetery contains the scattered graves of 59 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war. The War Cross is erected in Section D (General Ground), facing the entrance to the cemetery. A special memorial located near to the entrance bears the names of 2 sailors and 2 soldiers whose graves are not marked by headstones. There are a further 55 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war throughout the cemetery.
