Location information
The Machelen French Military Cemetery is situated on the Dorpstraat in the town of Machelen, within the province of East-Flanders and approximately 25 km south west of Gent. The graves of two Commonwealth casualties are located here. When entering, the grave of Labourer Yang Ch'eng Fa can be found one row left of the flag poles, which are located in the middle of the cemetery. For the grave of 2nd Lt Philip Frederick Cormack, turn right at the flag poles and head towards the fifth double row on the left. The grave is the 12th headstone in that row, counting from left to right.
