Purandhar is a hill fort located about 40Kms away from Pune. The nearest village is Narayanpur, which lies on the foot of the hill.

Visiting information

Purandhar Fort was formerly used as a military sanatorium. The cemetery is located within the fort. It lies at the end of the internal road of the Fort near the Shivaji statue. The fort is guarded by the army personals at all time and permission is required to visit the cemetery.
