Served in Uganda (1897-8) Abyssinia (1901) and the South African Campaign. (Three times Mentioned in Despatches.). His brother The Hon. Felix Charles Hubert Hanbury-Tracy also fell. His son Richard Algernon Frederick Hanbury-Tracy fell in the 1939-1945 war.
