- Additional Info Queen Victoria's Jubilee Medal. Son of William and Adelaide Bertram; husband of Ethel A. Bertram, of Kersewell, Carnwath, Lanarkshire. Was for 5 years (from 1889) Adjutant of the Scottish Rifles. Served in the Egyptian (1882) and South-African Campaigns; later Lt. Colonel Commanding 9th (Lanark) Bn. Highland Light Inf. Re-joined 1914.
