  • Additional Info Elder son of the late Maj. F. Coore Mein (King's Shropshire Light Inf.). Served in the South African Campaign with the West Somerset Yeomanry; and in the Samoan Expedition (1914-15) with the 3rd Auckland Regt. Again volunteered for service in 1915 and proceeded to the Dardanelles, with 4th Reinforcements.
