Burial service for two unknown soldiers at CWGC Bedford House Cemetery, Belgium

Due to severe weather conditions, this event has been postponed until further notice.

A burial service for two unknown soldiers will be held at 2.30pm (local time) on 8 November 2023 at CWGC’s Bedford House Cemetery, Belgium.

Following the recovery of the soldiers’ remains, the CWGC will mark their grave with a Commission headstone and will care for their final resting place in perpetuity.

The service has been organised by the British Ministry of Defence’s Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and will be attended by Defence Staff, military representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries.
