Cranfield (St Peter and Paul) Churchyard - War Graves Week Tours

Cranfield Churchyard

War Graves Week is an initiative aimed at encouraging people from the local community to come together and discover the World War heritage on their doorstep – learning about the stories of those commemorated by the CWGC and the skills, dedication and expertise of those CWGC staff and volunteers who work to keep their memory alive.

MEETING POINT: At the front entrance to the church, off Court Road.

The St. Peter and St. Paul Churchyard in the Bedfordshire village of Cranfield is the final resting place of four WW1 and eleven WW2 casualties commemorated by the CWGC. A number of the WW2 graves are linked to the former RAF Cranfield Air Station.

Ample on-street parking within a short walking distance.

Wheelchair users and pushchairs are welcome but will need to stay on the main paths within the cemetery.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a water bottle with you if needed. We will not be able to provide refreshments.
