Norwich City Cemetery - War Graves Week Tours

Norwich city cemetery general view

War Graves Week is an initiative aimed at encouraging people from the local community to come together and discover the World War heritage on their doorstep – learning about the stories of those commemorated by the CWGC and the skills, dedication and expertise of those CWGC staff and volunteers who work to keep their memory alive.

MEETING POINT: We will meet at the small crossroads after the cemetery gates, coming from the main Earlham Road entrance (what3words: watch.normal.wool). While the cemetery is wheelchair accessible, please note that we are likely to be moving over unpaved and sometimes uneven grass surfaces.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a water bottle with you if needed. We will not be able to provide refreshments. Please also be aware that as Norwich City Cemetery is a public and active site, there may be funeral ceremonies taking place on the day and mourners are likely to be present.
