Rededication ceremony: Private Frederick Little, Royal Scots

A rededication ceremony for Private Frederick Little, 44254, 9th Battalion, Royal Scots will be held at 2.30pm (local time) on 6 September 2023 at CWGC’s Raperie British Cemetery, France.

Private Little died on 1 August 1918 and was previously commemorated on the CWGC Soissons Memorial.

CWGC will soon mark his recently identified grave with a Commission headstone and will care for it in perpetuity. The service has been organised by the British Ministry of Defence’s Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and will be attended by Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries.
