Location information
Take the North End exit from the M4 freeway, turn right into Paterson Road and the cemetery entrance is 1.4 kilometres along this road.
Visiting information
The cemetery opening hours are 0800 to 1600 Monday to Sunday.
Approximately half of the graves are scattered but there is a group of nine war graves and a military plot with wall feature. In front of the row of war graves there is an explanatory stone flanked by alternative commemoration headstones relating to unmaintainable graves in the following cemeteries:

History information
During the Second World War, the local provincial hospital operated a military wing. No 42 Air School was based on the aerodrome on the outskirts of the city and No 43 Air School at nearby Port Alfred.
Port Elizabeth (North End) Cemetery contains four Commonwealth burials and commemorations of the First World War and 108 from the Second World War.
