Location information

Camden is 40 miles south-west of Sydney by road or rail, and is on Hume Highway. The cemetery is a mile to the south-west of Camden, in an elevated position on the eastern side of Cawdor Road. It contains 23 war graves, which are in a group in Plot E. This group is known locally as the War Cemetery.

History information

During the war No. 71 Squadron of the Royal Australian Air Force operated from Camden, and all save four of the graves are those of airmen, two of whom belonged to the Royal Air Force. The other four are the graves of soldiers of the Australian forces.
