Sutherland is 17 miles by road south-south-west of Sydney, and about the same distance by rail. This cemetery, which is controlled by Woronora General Cemetery and Crematorium Trust, is situated 500 yards west of Sutherland railway station. Woronora Crematorium is located within the grounds of this cemetery.
