Location information

The village of Lessines is located north of the town of Ath on the N57. From the E42 motorway turn off at junction 32 onto the N7 direction Barry/Ath. Follow the N7 through Gaurain-Ramecroix, Barry, Leuze-En-Hainault and Ligne to Ath. Keeping on the N7 go round the town of Ath to the junction with the N57. Turn onto the N57, direction Lessines, and follow this road over the railway to the fourth turning on the right. Turn right here into Chemin De Ath and the cemetery is immediately on your right. To locate the war graves, enter by the main gate and turn immediately right. The graves are 15 metres from the gate and can be clearly seen from the entrance. There are 8 British soldiers of the 1939-1945 War in the cemetery, 1 of whom is unidentified.
