Location information
Bercheux is a village near Juseret. It is 18 kilometres south-west of Bastogne, astride the Neufchateau-Bastogne road. The cemetery is about 364 metres east of the village church, on the north side of the road to Juseret. The Commonwealth burial is in the south-east corner.
History information
The British Expeditionary Force was involved in the later stages of the defence of Belgium following the German invasion in May 1940, and suffered many casualties in covering the withdrawal to Dunkirk. Juseret Communal Cemetey contains the grave of one airman of the Second World War.
