Location information

Hillsborough is the commercial centre on the west coast of the island of Carriacou, which is 17 miles north-east of Grenada and can be reached by ferry or plane from St Georges. From the ferry terminal turn right on to the main road through the town and follow this for approximately 400 metres to the junction with Brunswick Road. Follow Brunswick Road for approximately a further 400 metres and the cemetery will be found stretching back from the road up the hill. Alternatively, if approaching from the airport, follow the coastal road towards the town and turn right into Brunswick Road. The single war grave, a standard Commission headstone set on a three tiered, whitewashed concrete base, is at the rear of the cemetery close to the highest point on the slope occupied by the cemetery.

History information

The cemetery contains one unidentified Commonwealth burial of the Second World War.
