Location information

Taingy is a village and commune 14.5 miles (23 kilometres) south-west of Auxerre, and 5 miles (8 kilometres) west of Courson-les-Carrieres. The most practical way of visiting the village is by taxi from Auxerre, which has good rail connections with Paris. The cemetery lies on the western side of the village on the road leading to the neighbouring hamlet of Vassy. Near the centre of the southern half of the cemetery are the graves of seven British airmen.
