Location information

Den Bommel is a village in the eastern part of the island of Overflakkee. It is about 50 kilometres south-south-west of Rotterdam and 60 kilometres from Breda. The island is served by ferry from the mainland. The most convenient centre for Den Bommel is Rotterdam. The cemetery is in the centre of the village, behind the Protestant church. The British grave is near the main entrance.
