Veld-Driel, a village in the commune of Maasdriel, is 12 kilometres north of 's-Hertogenbosch, and 1 kilometre east of the main road from that town to Utrecht. The Roman Catholic churchyard is in the centre of the village, and the one British grave is in the north-western part.
