Location information

Hindeloopen is a coastal village on the Ijsselmeer (Zuyder Zee), 35 kilometres south of Harlingen. The churchyard surrounds the church on the western side of the village, near the dyke. At the entrance to the churchyard are the graves of 11 airmen.

History information

There are 11 airmen buried in this cemetery; seven from the United Kingdom, three from Canada and one from Australia. Of these, three from the United Kingdom and two Canadians are not identified.
