Location information
New Romney, one of the Cinque Ports, is east of Dungeness on the Kent coast, 8 miles south-south-west of Hythe and 3 miles north-north-east of Lydd. It is in the district of Romney Marsh. This small cemetery, just on the western border of the town on the road to Brenzett, is owned by the Borough of New Romney. It is three-quarters of a mile from the railway station and about 100 yards past the church.

There are altogether 10 war burials in this cemetery, and the number is made up by 2 sailors, 6 soldiers and 1 airman belonging to the forces of the United Kingdom and 1 unidentified seaman of the Merchant Navy. Three of these burials are in a small group to the right of the main entrance and the remainder in other parts of the cemetery.
