Location information

Ormskirk is a market town and parish 12 miles north-east of Liverpool. Ormskirk (St. Anne) Roman Catholic Churchyard is in Prescott Road, on the way to Southport.

History information

This contains war graves of both World wars. There are only two 1914-1918 war graves; but during the 1939-1945 war it was used for burials from Polish Military Hospital No. 4, then stationed at Ormskirk. In addition to the seven war graves recorded in this register the churchyard contains the graves of 26 Polish servicemen which are together in a group.
