Index No. Fr 499 Lamotte-Buleux is a village and commune 10 kilometres north of Abbeville and about 3 kilometres east of the main road (N.1) from that town of Boulogne-sur-Mer. The communal cemetery is south of the village on the D.105 road to Hautvillers, about 1 kilometre south of the point where it is crossed by the D. 3 2 (Nouvion-Neuilly L'Hopital) road. The grave of an airman of the Royal Air Force is about 8 metres north-west of the southern corner of the cemetery, adjacent to the boundary hedge.
