ARRIVAL

There are Chinese Labour Corps burials in 2 CWGC sections inside the public municipal cemetery.

The CWGC section is signposted on the main gate (right hand side), on Rue Edmond Madare, D 940. The CWGC plot is on the left-hand side and at the rear of the cemetery.

PARKING

It is possible to park in the layby to the front of the cemetery, where there are spaces for multiple vehicles.

ACCESS LAYOUT AND MAIN ENTRANCE

The main entrance is also the entrance to the municipal communal cemetery.

The main gate is 3 metres wide, grey metal, tall (over 2 metres high), double sided and is open during operating hours.

The Chinese Labour Corps Memorial, a tall white memorial, is in the top section of the cemetery, in the centre of the CWGC plot.

The cemetery is on a hill; the central access path is on a slope. The path is firm with a tarmac surface.

The paths around the burial area are grass, the ground is firm but undulating; care should be taken moving around as there are bumps and dips in the ground.

ALTERNATIVE ACCESS

There is no alternative access into the cemetery.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The CWGC sections are at the rear of the cemetery, on the top left side of the path (uphill) on level ground.

The cemetery is open during normal working hours, 08h00 to 18h00. Outside this time the main gate may be locked.
